"It's Naruto!" Chikana yelled at Anju, while at the same time taking off at a mad dash toward the obviously dangerous attacker. "Special Jutsu: Protect at all costs!!" Chikana yelled once inbetween Naruto and the attacker. Suddenly there was a bright flash as a sheild of light and fire came between Chikana and the attacker...

Silas felt the heat... he didn't care... he was in his phantom form... nothing could physically hurt him... he saw this new opponents soul now, and now she was at his mercy.... which was still a foreign concept... he passed through the flames dropping his staff letting it change to the original form, and reach his hand into Naruto's chest grasping his soul and gasped in pain as he realized that this was no ordinary ninja...

Chikana collapsed in pain as her shield was broken. "Who... what is he...?" She gasped in pain. She looked up to see the attacker pulling back as if he was burned. She then heard Anju calling her name as all her energy left her. She blacked out.

"Chikanaaa!!!!!" Anju raced breathlessly after her friend, 'She always leaves me behind, ah well, just means she'll get there faster' Anju thought, wishing she had the speed and dexterity of her friend.
Expertly leaping onto to a high branch, she then hurtled herself toward the scene landing skillfully between the two.
"!!! ...S-silas...?," She stammered, managing to stand.
Confused, she took a step toward him, "A-are you... are you okay?"
Despite her confusion, Anju's traits took hold of her also, in less than a second, the outcome of the encounter played through her mind. She had to act fast, or she feared this vision would come true.
She began to glow with a piercing light, the shield of her ancestors was known to be indestructible, but she hoped against anything it would keep those who lay unconscious safe from any more attacks. Then, bracing herself, Anju prepared for his move, he was strong, she knew it, but how strong would he be now? She wondered this, looking deep into his eyes, looking for some trace of her friend, somewhere in that bieng of hatred and death. Where were Shika and Sakashi?!

Silas wrenched his hand out of Naruto's chest and changed back to corporeal form pulling out the head of his scythe he placed it on Naruto's throat and said. "Give me your scroll or die! Either way its mine but I don't want to spill blood today." then a poison relapse hit and Silas fumbled in his sleeve for the ward injection and was about to use it when the world completely crashed around him and a black dream took him...

With her shield protecing Chikana, Anju watched in horror as an unmerciful evil overtook her friend.
"No!!!" She cried, hot burning tears running down her face, " No! Silas, you are not like this! This isn't you, fight it! You know you can! I know you can!"
She cried in frustration, knowing she was not getting through to him.
As he was about to strike the fatal blow, he fell into a black dream and Anju watched him fall to the ground.
"Silas!" she cried running to him, and she saw pain shoot across his face, 'Oh no,' she thought, 'What if he never wakes?'
Naruto's team-members ran onto the scene, "Naruto!" Sakura gasped and she and Sasuke ran to help him.

Silas opened his eyes groggily and saw the trees above him.... Wait! He could see! He put his hands over his eyes then took them away. Still sight. He stood up and turned toward Naruto and saw the rest of Naruto's team there...

"Silas!" Anju cried wringing the life out of him. Letting go, she then noticed that he looked confused, "What is it?" She asked him, worry shooting obviously across her face.
A light flashed in the corner of her eye, and she turned her attention to Chikana the shield disapearing. Anju ran an herb under Chikana's nose, the scent reviving her.

"Ewww!!!" Chikana yelled as she shot up into a standing position. "What is that?!" She notices the attacker on the ground. Wait, I know him! "Silas?" she thought out loud. She walked over to him with caution. "It is...."

"Silas, what happened?" Anju asked again, "Th-that thing, it wasn't you, that was a being purely of evil and death, and where are Sakashi and Shikashina? Silas!" She shouted,he wasn't spacey, she knew that, SHE was spacey, "What is wrong with you?!"

"I know," Anju's vision trait took hold again, and she fell back in a faint.
What she saw terrified her beyond anything she had ever seen before, the horrific scene played before her eyes in a non-stop pan of what lay ahead, she wouldn't believe it, she didn't want to, there was no way that one person could do all of this, but then she saw it...
